No harmonizers were used on Entranced. Mario plays all the harmonies.
Mario doesn't use whammy bars (he hasn't since the late 90's), all the string bending and vibrato comes from his fingers.
The Entranced material was written over several years, 'Entranced' was written in 1993.
Mario composed, arranged, performed, produced and engineered all the music on Entranced at MidnightCafe Studios, England and played all the instruments and executed all the artwork/photography. The photographs (front and inside covers) were taken in the states of Nevada and California, U.S.A. The front cover is a combination of artwork and photography, the landscape photo was taken from the back yard at sunset from Mario's old house in Las Vegas, the eyes on the cover belong to his wife Shawna. The inside photo was taken at twilight on the Joshua Tree Highway, California.
The opening track of the album was originally going to be 'Legend'.
Mario doesn't use standard reverb settings, he adjusted and programmed a combination of Lexicon and TC Electronic reverbs for almost every song.
The end riff from 'Ritual' is affectionately known as 'The Scarab March' for it's heavy Egyptian/Flamenco sound. Another song was created at the same time and will be released at a later date called 'The Scarab March (Ritual Part II)'.
'Spirit of Night' was recorded over three nights, deliberately so to capture the spirit of night.
